Types of Gardens

What is Your Gardening Style?

We love gardens. All of them. We believe there’s a perfect garden for every person. What’s your garden style? We can help you create it. We offer a wide range of garden themes to fit your needs.

Kitchen Garden

Kitchen Garden
The French call the kitchen garden a potager. This type of garden is highly functional with lots of activity on a daily basis during the growing season.  Herbs and vegetables are picked when they’re needed for a particular meal. That’s why a potager is generally placed close to the kitchen so it’s easy for the chef to access fresh, organic vegetables and herbs for meals. Some potagers are not only functional; they are beautiful to behold.

Vegetable Garden

Vegetable Gardens
There’s nothing better than eating fresh picked, organic vegetables that you’ve grown yourself. The wonderful thing about planting your own organic edible garden is that it gives you access to an amazing variety of  options that you could  never find in your local grocery store. I can help you select heirloom and hybrid varieties that will grow well in our climate, as well as ones that tend to be more disease and pest resistant.   We recommend raised beds and intensive planting methods that will allow a very productive garden in small amount of space.

Herb Gardens – Culinary and Medicinal

Lavender Herb Garden
Many herb gardens are planted for culinary purposes so the chef can harvest herbs over a long growing season. However, medicinal herb gardens have become more and more common, too. There are many types of herbs that can be planted to provide a wide range of herbal medicines for a variety of common ailments. One thing is certain, many flowering herbs make beautiful plants that bees and birds love. Why not plant more in your garden? Herbs easy to grow in containers or in the ground, and they can really pack a punch.

Tea Gardens

Are you a tea lover? With a little thought you could plant an organic tea garden that would provide you with many different types of herbal plants you can use to brew up a nice, relaxing cup of tea. A tea garden can complement any kind of herb garden you plan to plant or you could add onto an existing herb garden already in place. Many herbs are easy to grow and don’t need a lot of space. You can mix and match your favorite flavors and make store bought tea a thing of the past.
